Handwritten copies (eishabon 影写本) of the 9.23.1511 (Eishō 8) Ōuchi Yoshioki Document of Praise (kanjō)

The above photo reveals how eishabon were bound in books. If one were to look up the Nakajima family records at the Tokyo Historiographical Institute, a copy of this document would appear on three manuscript pages. A comparison of the photo below, which is a close up of the eishabon, with the original document attests to the accuracy of the copy.
