A directive issued by the proprietor of Tannowa estate (Kujō Tadaaki) on the fifth day of the eighth month of the seventeenth year of Shōhei (1362). Southern Court era name.

Concerning the taxable land (kōden) of the western region of Tannowa estate in Izumi province, the estate secretary (kumon)’s core income is assessed at a rate of six shō three gō per tan and he is due horse leather as well. It is most unseemly that this has been taken.1 Henceforth, as originally, there should be no disturbances with this permanent possession. By the order of the proprietor, the Hon. Captain (chūjo) of the Kūjō house. Thus so conveyed.
