Concerning the aforesaid. Since the eleventh month of the third year of Jōwa (1347), while besieged at Iyama castle, I waited for the reinforcements of the grand general. On the eighth day of the first month of the fourth year of Jōwa [1348], when the general was to depart for Tōjō, I quickly advanced to the harbor of Sakai. and served together. I later joined the forces of the deputy shugo Tsuchida Kurō. On the sixth day of the second month, I performed military service at the battle of Harukidani. On the fifteenth day of the fifth month of the same year, when invading Yokoyama and Miyazato, I burned the enemy’s camp. On the fourth day of the ninth month, while straining every nerve to perform military service during the second attack against Miyazato, Matashirō, one of my retainers (wakatō), was wounded. On the twentieth day of the tenth month, you were encamped at Ikeda by force, I performed battle service every day. During the battle of Jiden in Kawachi province on the fifteenth day of the third month this year, the battle of Yamada on the eighteenth day of the same month, and the battle of Hino-Takaoka on the twenty second day of the fourth month, I was the vanguard, fighting with no regard for my own life. While fighting in various battles, I captured part of an enemy (buntori). This was been witnessed by Tsuchida Kurō.
