粉骨自身之外

被官已下迄被疵

候之条尤神妙候也

Document of praise (kanjō ) issued by Hosokawa Tsuneari on the twenty seventh day of the fifth month of the first year of Ōnin (1467).

During this past twenty-sixth day, you fought well in the battle at the crossroads of Ichijō and Ōmiya. Not only yourself, but also your retainers and low-ranking followers were injured. This is very impressive.
