和泉国淡輪助太郎重氏申軍忠事
一今月十三日横山合戦都筑平三見知候畢
一同十五日壺井合戦門真兵庫允見知候了
一同十九日河内国天野合戦属大将御手致合
戦忠勤畢
右度々合戦次第着到分明之上云御内
方云傍輩有御尋更不可有御不審者也
此上早申賜御判可備後証之由相
存候以此旨可有御披露候哉恐惶

Tannowa Shigeuji petition for reward (gunchūjō ) of the twenty-first day of the tenth month of the fourth year of the Kenmu era (1337). Monogrammed by a certain Kunitoshi. Northern Court era name.
Suketarō Shigeuji, of Tannowa in the Province of Izumi, states the following military service:
- On the thirteenth day of this month, at the battle of Yokoyama, during which Tsuzuki Heizō served as a witness;
- On the fifteenth day of the same, at the battle of Tsuboi, during which Kadoma hyōgo no jō served as a witness;
- On the nineteenth day of the same, battle of Amano, Province of Kawachi, during which we accomplished military service under the Grand General’s command.
Above have been made clear the details of the battles as well as our participation thereto; should you check with allies (mikata) or comrades (bōhai) you shall find no reason to disbelieve this account. As such, we respectfully request that you swiftly appose your seal so that this document can serve as a proof in the future. Is it to hope that you will reveal the content of this report to the general I humbly appeal to you.
